Inspire Travel from the Ground Up

About Avelo Airlines

Avelo Airlines is America's first new mainline airline in nearly 15 years, built from scratch to inspire travel by saving our Customers time and money. We bypass massive, congested hubs in favor of small, ultra-convenient hometown airports. If you possess an entrepreneurial spirit and want to help shape the culture of a fast-growing company, this is one of the most unique aviation jobs on the market. We are looking for pioneers to join our cabin crew.

Job Summary

As an Avelo Flight Attendant, you will fly on our fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft, bringing reliable, friendly service to communities that have long been ignored by major carriers. You will enjoy a simple, straightforward network that relies heavily on "day-turns"—meaning you will likely end your shift at your home base. You must be a self-starter, highly adaptable, and ready to wear multiple hats as we continue to scale our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • One Crew Culture: Embrace the startup mentality. Work closely with gate agents, pilots, and ramp crews to ensure smooth operations at small regional airports with limited infrastructure.
  • Uncompromising Safety: Maintain absolute command of the cabin environment, executing FAA safety protocols with confidence and precision.
  • Friendly & Simple Service: Deliver a hassle-free, comfortable onboard experience. Handle customer inquiries with a "can-do" attitude and a warm smile.
  • Brand Building: Act as an ambassador for a new brand in new markets. Provide critical ground-level feedback to leadership regarding passenger preferences and operational hiccups.

Benefits & Culture

  • Home Daily Potential: Enjoy a schedule heavily weighted toward out-and-back flying, allowing for superior work-life balance.
  • Growth Opportunities: Get in early at a growing airline, resulting in highly accelerated seniority and promotion opportunities.
  • Total Rewards: Competitive starting pay, robust health benefits, and standby travel access.

Requirements

  • Must be 20+ years old with a High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to thrive in a rapidly changing, fast-paced startup environment.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and intense flight safety training.
